The Horse­head Neb­ula. Cre­ated from data from POSS2/UKSTU with FITS Lib­er­ator.

I’m still play­ing around with FITS Lib­er­ator. I’d like to have a go at doing the Bubble Neb­ula, but I haven’t the patience to track down the data files at the moment. In the mean­time there’s clearly plenty of room for improve­ment as these two images at the Space Tele­scope site show (image one) (image two).
